First of all, Ben was talking to some German parachute troops. They showed him some of their guns.

They gave him this captured Russian sub-machine gun. Perhaps they thought that if he was holding it, they could shoot him...
Ben then went and found some medieval knights. He tried a sample of their weapons.

They wanted to make him their regimental mascot, as their penguin had met a tragic accident involving a Swiss Army knife and can of sardines.
We found that Ben was a natural to follow in his mother's footsteps. Or chain mail.

Thanks to an old friend, Brendan Cronin of Conquest, who let him run around in it until he was worn out.
Finally Ben's mischief was too much, and the local Executioner was called upon to do his duty...
